Living Your Muse: Creativity Embodied
I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Melissa Fritchle of Soul Entwined with Earth on this beautiful four-week online offering.
The Sacred Wild speaks to us in unknown languages that we learn through creative listening, sensing, and processing. Often understanding our interactions with the Wild emerges only after we have put an image to paper, or allowed poetry to flow out, or felt the gestures and movements of a dance. Within each of us is a Muse who, if called, will help us to fully engage in a deeply embodied, soulful way with the Sacred Wild and our own inner landscapes.
Join us for an experiential journey over 4 weeks of a full moon cycle, of Living Your Muse. Together we will stoke the fires of our creativity with drawing, expressive writing, photography and movement. Each invitation to create will be rooted in connection with the natural world and personal reflections.
Held within the Center for Wild Spirituality’s Mighty Networks platform, The Ecosystem, the experience will include a private group page for sharing our creations and thoughts, as well as recordings of sessions you miss. Attendance in person is important though, so plan to be present with us as often as possible. No art experience necessary - this is about tapping into the innate creativity within you.

This workshop is for anyone seeking to deepen their connection with themselves, the natural world, and their creative potential. It is ideal for:
Spiritual seekers: Individuals interested in exploring intuitive, emotional, embodied and nature focused practices for personal growth and transformation.
Curious souls: Anyone with a desire to explore different ways of listening to the world, especially creativity, embodiment and the wisdom of the earth, and those who are open to self-discovery.
No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to explore, listen deeply, and connect with the world in a more meaningful way.
-
This is a space for those ready to embrace a more intuitive, embodied, and creative approach to listening and connection. If you're open to exploring these areas, you'll find this workshop a transformative experience.
Those who this workshop may not work for:
Those seeking a purely intellectual or theoretical experience
Those expecting a structured, goal-oriented approach
Individuals not open to creative or spiritual practices
This workshop may not be suitable for individuals with aphantasia, as it involves practices that rely on the ability to visualize and engage with imagination, dreams, and inner imagery. If you have difficulty visualizing or accessing mental images, some of the exercises may be less accessible. However, alternative methods and adaptations can be discussed if needed to ensure everyone can engage in the practices in a way that feels supportive.

First you need to have curiosity and an openness to play both things we often loose as we age. There is no requirement to be an artist or even consider yourself creative to do this workshop, your curiosity and willingness to play will allow you to listen more deeply.
Outside of these two important things some supplies are useful, this can be as simple as a pen or pencil and paper and any other supplies are what you have available to you. There are some common supplies used:
Paper
pencils (an everyday pencil or coloured pencils)
collage supplies (glue stick, magazines or images, scissors and paper)
paints and brushes
a journal if you have one
If there are specific supplies needed you will be given that information at registration.
Imagination and Creativity Workshops
Welcome to my Imagination and Creativity workshop series! These workshops are inspired by some of my greatest passions: imagination, imaginal journeys, creative expression, deepening our connection with our soul’s wisdom, and fostering community. Each workshop incorporates these elements in unique ways.
Workshop length and depth can vary—longer sessions allow more space for exploration, deeper exercises, and richer interaction. However, regardless of duration, every workshop will include:
An Imaginal Journey: More than just a guided visualization, you’ll actively engage with your inner world, interacting with the imaginal space and any beings that emerge.
Creative Expression: This space invites you to reflect on your journey through creative means, beyond words. Here, you’ll tune into your experience with more than just your rational mind, allowing for deeper self-expression.
Deepening Your Connection to Soul Wisdom: Throughout the experience, we explore different ways to listen to our inner guidance. While I offer insights on ego, protective parts, projection, shadow work, and creativity, the real transformation happens in the doing—learning to listen differently through practice.
Community Reflection: Sharing within the group opens up new perspectives and connections. While sharing is optional, the process of being witnessed—whether through your journey, creative expression, or the wisdom you’ve received—has profound value. Time and again, I’ve seen how sharing enhances the collective experience. We’re not meant to explore our inner landscapes in isolation; community brings new insights and understanding.

An imaginal journey, this is more than a guided visualization there is more opportunity for you to use active imagination to be present to and interact with the imaginal space you are in and any beings who join you.

Creative expression is anything you are creating that allows you to listen and reflect differently than when engaging your thinking/rational mind. Common creative expressions people use in these workshops include: drawing, painting, collage, poetry, and song. There are as many ways of creative expression as there are people - your creative voice is unique and beautiful.

First you need to have curiosity and an openness to play both things we often loose as we age. So why is this important? Curiosity and judgement can’t co-exist, curiosity opens you so the narrowness of judgement recedes and play is how we discover new aspects of ourselves and the world around us. There is no requirement to be an artist or even consider yourself creative to do this workshop, your curiosity and willingness to play will allow you to listen more deeply.

I work individually with folks as well offering focused on helping people find the “something more” that they want in their life. I infuse my work with practices and invitations that offer experiences of different forms of listening such as, creativity, imagination, nature, embodiment, dreams and symbols.
Workshop Library
We all have resistance to some things in our lives and it often feels like a slog to get through to the other side of the resistance and closer to what we desire. Imagination and specifically Imaginal Journeys (think guided visualizations where you are more actively engaged) can be a powerful practice to work with resistance rather than pushing against it.
Connection with your Soul, your inner wisdom through imagination, visualization, creativity and play can help create the life you want. In this hour long workshop you will learn about different ways we listen and interact with ourselves and the world around us and will focus on accessing your imagination and creativity to deeply listen to your soul and the inner wisdom there.
Our intuition is a deep well of inner wisdom but sometimes it is difficult to hear the soft voice of our intuition. Join me for an Imaginal Journey (think guided visualizations where you are more actively engaged)to meet your intuition.
Some emotions we just want to run away from or push down but they don’t go away and often they become bigger, coming out in unexpected ways. What if you had practices that could help you lean into the emotion, to understand what wisdom it holds and allow the emotion to integrate?
We all have stories that form who we are. Many of these stories are no longer reflective of who we are and limit who we want to become. In this 60 minute workshop you will go on an imaginal journey, a guided visualization that you actively participate in, to explore the books in the library of your life, choose a story that you no longer need and then begin to rewrite a new story.
